Biography

New York is my palette and camera is my brush.

   Originally from Moscow, Russia, I came to US at 18, and moved to New York at 24. I have been shooting for about twelve years, working mostly with Nikon cameras. During a few years of assisting fashion and still life photographers, I learned about large format cameras, lighting, film, and digital photography, along with how much hard work a successful photo shoot involves.

   Creating portraits for people gives me a great opportunity for artistic and personal growth. In every case it’s always unique and exciting experience. A lot of my work is portraits, but I try not to limit myself to just that. So, I present my travel stories in small groups of images many of which are available for sale or stock.
